TEST CONDITIONS

The RSS module monitors the communication signals between its three internal microprocessors.

FAULT CONDITIONS

If a fault is seen, a code is set.

ACTION TAKEN

Set code S050, turn on "SERVICE RIDE CONTROL" message, command all four dampers to firm.

DESCRIPTION

Since code S050 is an internal fault to the RSS module, there is no repair and the module must be replaced.

WHEN ALL DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIRS ARE COMPLETE, CLEAR CODES AND VERIFY OPERATION.
