Chart 6 Doors Do Not Unlock W/SW. In Run & Trans Shift to Park

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
When the transmission is shifted into "PARK," voltage is applied to the RCDLR/TDM on CKT 275. When the RCDRL/TDM senses voltage on CKT 441 (ignition switch in "RUN") and voltage on CKT 275, the RCDLR/TDM applies voltage to CKT 194 and CKT 694. The door lock relay is energized to actuate the fuel and door lock actuators and unlock all doors.

CHART TEST DESCRIPTION
Number(s) below refer to circled number(s) on the diagnostic chart.

1. Checks for normal operation of the RCDLR/TDM.
2. Checks for normal courtesy lamp operation.
3. Checks for unwanted ignition signal at terminal "C 16" with transmission in "DRIVE."
4. Checks for an ignition signal at terminal "C 16" with transmission in "PARK."

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
The RCDLR/TDM must see a change of state at terminal "C 16" for the lock/unlock function to occur.
