Console Shifter

SHIFT CONTROL CABLE (CONSOLE SHIFTER)






Remove or Disconnect

1. Cable from transaxle lever and bracket.
2. Shifter "T" handle and console shift indicator cover.
3. Cable from stud pin on shift control assembly.
4. Loosen carpet attachments on drivers side to allow access to cable routing.
5. Cable assembly through bulk head.


Install or Connect

1. Properly route and position cable, ensure proper installation of bulk head grommet, do not twist or sharply bend cable assembly.
2. Cable to shifter control stud pin.
3. Secure carpet.
4. Console cover and shifter handle, assure proper alignment of shifter indicator (part of cover) with shifter.
5. Cable end pin to transaxle manual lever and cable housing to bracket.
6. Adjust the cable. Park Lock Cable

Tighten
Tighten Nut to 27 Nm (20 lb ft)
