"Service Brake Fluid" Message

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION


The IPC supplies 5 volts to the low brake fluid circuit. The IPC supplies and internally monitors the voltage level of the circuit at pin "D8". If CKT 209 is open, the IPC will detect greater than 3.5 volts at pin "D8". If the condition exists for at least one second, the IPC will display the "SERVICE BRAKE FLUID" message.


TEST CONDITION(S)


1. Ignition 3 "ON".

FAILURE CONDITION(S)

CKT 209 remains open for at least 1 second.


ACTION TAKEN

1. Display the "SERVICE BRAKE FLUID" message on the IPC.
