DESCRIPTION:
This diagnostic test compares the vehicle speed to Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP). There must be a corresponding change in MAP with a change in vehicle speed. The PCM will ignore the test if conditions for engine idle are present. If the vehicle speed changes 8 mph or greater in 1 second and is not accompanied by a greater than 2 kPa change in MAP Code P075 will set.

TEST CONDITIONS:
1. Codes P031, P032, and P034 not set.

2. Engine running, not at idle.

3. Brakes not applied.

FAILURE CONDITIONS:
Vehicle speed change, 8 mph or more in a 1 second time period with a corresponding MAP change of 2 kPa or less.
