Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

PROCEDURE
1. Check I/P Fuse 6. If open, check CKT 75, CKT 275 and CKT 1630 for a short to ground.
2. Make sure G201 is clean and tight.
3. If Transmission Shift Lever does not shift out of Park, make sure the linkage is properly adjusted.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check.
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
