CLEARING ECM CODES
Using On-Board Diagnostics
Engine Control Module (ECM) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be cleared from the Heater and Air Conditioning (H-A/C) control by pressing the "OFF" button while DTCs are displaying pointer -00. After DTCs are cleared, the display will show "00."

Power Interrupt Method
If power to the ECM is removed after the DTC is set, the DTC will be removed from memory.

Using a Scan Tool
The Tech 1 scanner can also be used to clear DTCs.
