Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

A fluid level sensor is included in the hydraulic unit reservoir. The sensor consists of a float with reed switch contacts which make up two switches. One switch is normally open and the other is normally closed. Both switches change position when low fluid is detected.
