Output

The ECM outputs option provides the ability to cycle ECM controlled outputs. The DIC display identifies the solenoid or relay, and the state that the ECM is commanding that device. HI indicates that the solenoid or relay is de-energized, and LO indicates that the solenoid or relay is energized. The ECM outputs tests can only be done at key ON engine OFF

A brief summary of each output is provided below:

EO00 No outputs are cycled.

EO01 The canister purge solenoid.

EO02 The Viscous Converter Clutch (VCC) solenoid.

EO03 Electronic Vacuum Regulator Valve (EVRV).

EO04 Air switch solenoid.

EO05 Air divert solenoid.

E006 Idle Speed Control motor (ISC).

EO07 The cruise control vent solenoid.

EO08 Cruise vacuum solenoid.

EO09 Canister purge, EGR, ISC, Cruise vent, Electric Switching Valve (ESV).

EO10 Cruise vacuum, Electric Divert Valve (EDV), VCC, A/C relay.

EO20 A/C clutch control relay.

EO99 Cycle all outputs.
