Chart 1 No Compressor Operation

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The compressor clutch coil is fed power through the A/C relay and is grounded through the A/C ground circuit 150.

TEST DESCRIPTION
Numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart:

1. Checks to see if the Electronic Control Module (ECM) has disabled the compressor because of a faulty power steering pressure switch or circuit input.
2. Checks the A/C relay.
3. Checks to see if the A/C relay is receiving power on circuit 258.
4. Checks to see if there is a open in the compressor clutch power circuit 59.
5. Checks to see if the compressor clutch is faulty or if there is a open in the compressor clutch ground circuit 150.
6. Checks the A/C relay.
7. Checks to see if there is a open in circuit 67 / 257 or circuit 762 not allowing the A/C relay to be closed.
