B420 Retained Accessory Power Circuit

BCM Code B420 (Part 5 Of 5):

RAP Circuit:

DESCRIPTION:

If the relays could not be heard or felt switching each 3 seconds with B003 selected, the RAP relay circuits are suspect.

TEST DESCRIPTION: Numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart.

1. This checks for normal RAP functions, there by checking for faults in the RAP circuits.

NOTE ON INTERMITTENTS:

If an intermittent code B420 is being set, manipulate the related wiring in output function and watch for relays to cycle.
