B335

Code B335:

Display Circuit:

DESCRIPTION:

Since a loss of data communication with the CCDIC will result in a "System Problem" display, this code can only be recognized as a "History" code. During this event, the HVAC will default to 75°F set temperature, front defrost air delivery and automatic blower control.

With a two-way, redundant communication ability built into this system, a double open in the data line must occur to set the fault. A single fault, however, in the CCID power or ground would also cause this code to set.

BCM code B335 indicates a loss of data communication between the CCDIC and the BCM. When this event occurs, the CCDIC will display "SYSTEM PROBLEM" until the condition is corrected. Due to the nature of this code, it will only be displayed as an intermittent.

Possible causes of this code are a faulty CCDIC panel, a loss of 7 volts (CKT 807) or ground (CKT 801) from the central power supply, or the actual loss of the data communication circuit to the BCM. These circuits should be checked for intermittent contacts.
