SUBJECT: HYDRA-MATIC 4L60 TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAKS AT SPEED SENSOR (NEW SPEED SENSORS)


MODELS AFFECTED: 1990 BROUGHAMS


Some 1990 Broughams equipped with the Hydra-Matic 4L60 transmission may experience fluid leaks at the vehicle speed sensor. The leak may occur at the sensor seal to the transmission or at the electrical connector to the sensor. A new series of transmission speed sensors with improved anti-leak characteristics should be used to repair this condition.
