SUBJECT: RATTLING SOUND APPARENT AT LEFT OR RIGHT HEAD RESTRAINT

MODELS AFFECTED: 1989-1990 FLEETWOOD SIXTY SPECIALS


Some 1989-1990 Fleetwood Sixty Specials may experience a "rattling sound" at the left or right head restraint assembly.

To repair this condition use the following procedure:

1. Remove seat back trim panel.

2. Remove drive cable and gear.

3. Remove head restraint and disconnect hose.

4. Remove shaft retainer.

5. Separate shaft retainer and cement two pieces of Velcro material (pile side only) into housing as shown in Figure 1.

6. Reinstall parts as required.

For warranty purposes use Labor Operation T6421 at .3 hour for left and T6422 at .3 hour for right headrests.
