This bulletin is being revised to increase the labor time from .3 hour to .5 hour. Please discard bulletins T-90-24 and T-90-24A.
Some 1990 Eldorados and Sevilles may experience a condition of a rattle from the front door during closing. This condition may be caused by loose rivets securing the lock module to the door inner panel.
To repair this condition use the following procedure:
1. Remove the door trim panel and noise suppressing foam pad.
2. Drill and insert an additional 3/16" x 1/8" rivet to the locations specified on the attached artwork. Refer to Figures 1 and 2.
3. Install the door trim panel and noise suppressing foam pad.
For warranty purposes use Labor Operation T6405 at .5 hour for the left side, and T6406 at .5 hour for the right side.
