D: Fuel Gage Sender Accuracy Test

1. Check Fuel Gage Sender ground for high resistance (see schematic).

^ If ground is good, go to step 2.

^ If the circuit is bad, repair as necessary.

2. Check PNK/BLK (39) and PPL (30) wires for high resistance. Check connectors for clean and tight connections.

^ If the wires or connections are bad, repair as necessary.

^ If the fuel level reading is still inaccurate, replace the Fuel Gage Sender. If still not functioning properly, replace Body Computer Module (BCM).
