DESCRIPTION:

This chart is used because the odometer problem has been isolated to the CCDIC component or the related data line circuitry.

The numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart.

1. This step will re-install CKT 800E into the data circuit. If the odometer reads zero, the circuit is shorted to ground or voltage.

2. This step will re-install CKT 800C into the data circuit. If the odometer continues to read the correct mileage, the CCDIC must be replaced. If zeros return to the IPC, CKT 800C is the fault.
