Theft Deterrent Controller Location - Brougham:

THEFT DETERRENT CONTROLLER AND RELAY (BROUGHAM)

Removal and Installation

1. Unlock door with key.
2. Open hood and disconnect negative battery cable(s).
3. Remove left-hand sound insulator.
4. Remove two screws securing controller and relay to bracket. Bracket is attached to brake pedal bracket.
5. Disconnect electrical connectors from controller and relay.
6. Cut strap securing relay to controller and separate.
7. Reverse procedure for installation.
8. Check for proper operation of theft deterrent system.

Theft Deterrent Controller Location - Eldorado And Seville:

THEFT DETERRENT CONTROLLER AND RELAY (ELDORADO AND SEVILLE)

Removal and Installation

1. Unlock door with key.
2. Open hood and disconnect negative battery cable(s).
3. Remove left-hand sound insulator.
4. Remove 2 screws securing theft deterrent bracket to accelerator pedal lever plate.
5. Disconnect two electrical connectors and remove theft deterrent controller assembly.
6. Remove two screws securing theft deterrent controller and relay to bracket.
7. Cut strap securing theft deterrent relay to controller and separate.
8. Reverse procedure for installation.
9. Check for proper operation of theft deterrent system.
