Production of the 1984 model Cimarron has been extended into the 1985 model year.

Starting at Broadcast #419885 for model "CB" and Broadcast #420967 for model "CA" transaxles, late 1984 model year Cimarrons will be built with 1985 model THM 125C transaxles. There are differences in service parts between 1984 and 1985 model year THM 125C transaxles. When servicing any 1984 Cimarron equipped with a THM 125C transaxle, verify the model year of the transaxle by looking at the nameplate located on top of the transaxle by the manual shaft (refer to Figure 1).

NOTE: If the transaxle being serviced is a 1984 model, you must refer to the 1984 parts list, and if it is a 1985 model, you must refer to the 1985 parts list in order to obtain the correct service parts.
