69. Camshaft Installation

Camshaft Installation




1. Coat the camshaft with prelube GM P/N 12345501 (Canadian P/N 992704) or the equivalent.
2. Install the camshaft.
3. Install the camshaft thrust plate.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

4. Install the camshaft thrust plate bolts and tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
