Engine Mount Strut Engine Side Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the ignition control module. Refer to Ignition Control Module Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the engine mount strut. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the engine mount strut bracket nuts (1).
4. Remove the engine mount strut bracket stud (3).
5. Remove the engine mount strut bracket from the studs.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the engine mount strut bracket to the studs.
2. Install the engine mount strut bracket stud (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

3. Install the engine mount strut bracket nuts (1).

Tighten the stud/nuts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

4. Install the engine mount strut. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Install the ignition control module. Refer to Ignition Control Module Replacement (Service and Repair).
