Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Use floor stands to support the transaxle.
5. With a jack, slightly take the weight off mount, and remove the transaxle bracket to transaxle mount upper nuts.
6. Remove the transaxle bracket to transaxle bolts.
7. Remove the transaxle bracket.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the transaxle bracket to the transaxle.
2. Hand start the transaxle mount bracket to transaxle bolts.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).
3. Install the transaxle bracket bolts.
Start with the forward lower bolt and work clockwise to tighten the transaxle bracket bolts to 95 N.m (70 lb ft).
4. Remove the support from the transaxle.
5. Install the transaxle bracket to the transaxle mount upper nuts.
Tighten the nuts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).
6. Install the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
8. Lower the vehicle.
