Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the engine coolant from the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L26, LY7 GE 47716 Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (L26 Static Fill) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor. Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Remove the engine mount strut at the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) and Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).




4. Remove the engine mount strut bracket bolts.
5. Remove the engine mount strut bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the engine mount strut bracket to the head.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the engine mount strut bracket bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).




3. Install the engine mount strut to the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) and Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).
4. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor. Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Fill the cooling system with engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L26, LY7 GE 47716 Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (L26 Static Fill) (Service and Repair).
