68. Camshaft Installation

Camshaft Installation





1. Coat the camshaft with prelube GM P/N 12345501 (Canadian P/N 992704) or the equivalent.
2. Install the camshaft.
3. Install the camshaft thrust plate.

4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the camshaft thrust plate bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
