Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5.




2. Remove the right sound insulator fasteners (2) from the I/P.
3. Disconnect the following components:

* The courtesy lamp
* The PSIR connector
* The heater temperature sensor connector

4. Remove the right sound insulator (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the following components to the insulator:

* The courtesy lamp
* The PSIR connector
* The heater temperature sensor connector

2. Position the right sound insulator (1) to the I/P.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the fasteners (2) to the I/P.

Tighten the fasteners to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5.
