Window Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the front door window to the half way position to gain access to the front door window bolts.
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer toWindow Adjustment - Front Door (Adjustments) .
3. Remove the front door inner belt sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .




4. Remove the front door window bolts (2).




5. Remove the front door window from the front door.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the front door window into the front door.
2. Align the holes in the front door window with the holes in the window regulator. Ensure that both sealing lips on the front door outer belt sealing strip are not rolled over and pointing downward. If this condition is present, the window will not raise correctly.





Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the front door window bolts (2).

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

4. Install the front door inner belt sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
5. Adjust the front door window as necessary. Refer toWindow Adjustment - Front Door (Adjustments) .
6. Install the front door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door Service and Repair
