Ashtray Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer toTrim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory (Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement) .
2. Remove the screws (1) from the instrument panel ashtray bracket.
3. Remove the IP ashtray (2) from the instrument panel accessory trim plate.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ashtray.



Installation Procedure

1. Connect the electrical connector to the ashtray.




2. Position the instrument panel ashtray (2) to the Instrument panel accessory trim plate.

Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the screws (1) to the instrument panel ashtray bracket.

Tighten the instrument panel ashtray bracket screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer toTrim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory (Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement) .
