Door Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rubber conduit. Refer toRubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door (Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door) .
2. Remove the trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door. Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door.
4. Remove the door speaker. Refer toSpeaker Replacement - Front Door .
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. Remove the front door inner sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
7. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer - Front (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
8. Remove the window. Refer toWindow Replacement - Front Door (Service and Repair) .
9. Remove the window weatherstrip. Refer toWeatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window (Door Window Weatherstrip) .
10. Remove the window regulator. Refer toWindow Regulator Replacement - Front Door (Door Window Regulator Replacement (Manual)) .
11. Remove the outside door handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Front Outside (Door Handle Replacement) .
12. Remove the inside handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Front Inside (Door Handle Replacement) .
13. Remove the lock. Refer toLock Replacement - Front Door (Lock Replacement - Front Door) .
14. Remove the door side molding. Refer toGarnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Frame (Garnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Frame) .
15. Support the door.




16. Remove the intermediate door hinge bolts.
17. Remove the door.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the intermediate door hinge bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).

2. Remove the support.
3. Install the door side moldings. Refer toGarnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Frame (Garnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Frame) .
4. Install the lock. Refer toLock Replacement - Front Door (Lock Replacement - Front Door) .
5. Install the inside handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Front Inside (Door Handle Replacement) .
6. Install the outside door handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Front Outside (Door Handle Replacement) .
7. Install the window regulator. Refer toWindow Regulator Replacement - Front Door (Door Window Regulator Replacement (Manual)) .
8. Install the window weatherstrip. Refer toWeatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window (Door Window Weatherstrip) .
9. Install the window. Refer toWindow Replacement - Front Door (Service and Repair) .
10. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer - Front (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement)
11. Install the front door inner sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
12. Connect the electrical connectors.
13. Install the door speaker. Refer toSpeaker Replacement - Front Door .
14. Install the rubber conduit. Refer toRubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door (Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door) .
15. Install the water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door. Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door
16. Install the trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Service and Repair) .
17. Adjust the door. Refer toDoor Adjustment - Front (Adjustments) .
