ANTENNA REPLACEMENT - CELLULAR COMMUNICATIONS

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the overhead console, if equipped.
2. Lower the front of the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement.
3. Disconnect the antenna cable from the antenna.
4. Remove the antenna bolt (3) and expansion sleeve.




5. Remove the antenna from the roof.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the antenna.




2. Install the antenna expansion sleeve and bolt (3) to the antenna shaft.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Connect the antenna cable.
4. Install headliner.
5. Install the overhead console, if equipped.
