Fuel Door Release Actuator: Service and Repair

FUEL FILLER DOOR RELEASE ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Position the manual release cable through the slot in the rear compartment trim, from the inside of the rear compartment.




2. Remove the push-in retainers from the fuel filler door actuator.
3. Remove the fuel filler door actuator.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector to the actuator.
2. Install the fuel filler door actuator.
3. Install the push-in retainers to the fuel filler door actuator.
4. Insert the manual release cable through a slot in the rear compartment trim.
5. Verify proper operation of the fuel filler door.
