Compact Disc Player (CD): Service and Repair
REMOTE CD PLAYER REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right side of the rear compartment trim retainer and reposition the trim.
2. Remove the 3 upper fasteners (2).
3. Remove the side fastener (1).
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2, 3).
5. Remove the CD changer (1) from the studs (4).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connectors (2, 3).
2. Install the CD changer (1) to the studs (4).
3. Install the side fasteners (1).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
4. Install the upper fasteners (2).
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
5. Reposition the trim.
6. Install the fasteners.
