Motor Replacement - Power Mirror

Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Eye Protection Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the mirror from the front door. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power (Mirror Replacement - Power Mirror) or Mirror Replacement - Remote (Mirror Replacement - Remote) .
3. Remove the mirror face. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement (Mirror Face Replacement) .




4. Remove the mirror motor screws.
5. Remove the mirror motor electrical harness through the mirror housing.
6. Remove the mirror motor from the mirror housing.



Installation Procedure





1. Route the mirror motor electrical harness through the mirror housing.
2. Position the mirror motor to the mirror housing.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the mirror motor screws.

Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the mirror to the front door. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power (Mirror Replacement - Power Mirror) or Mirror Replacement - Remote (Mirror Replacement - Remote) .
5. Install the mirror face. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement (Mirror Face Replacement) .
6. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Service and Repair) .
7. Check the mirror for proper operation.
