Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

HEADLAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the left IP trim plate.




2. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2, 3).




3. Remove the headlamp switch from the left IP trim plate.
3.1. Remove the fastener (1).
3.2. Tilt the headlamp switch (2) to remove.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the headlamp switch (2) to the IP trim plate.
2. Install the fastener (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




3. Connect the electrical connectors (2, 3).
4. Install the IP trim plate.
