Instrument Panel Storage Compartment - Door Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the IP storage compartment door.
2. Remove the 4 door to hinge fasteners.
3. Remove the door.
4. Remove the door insulator fasteners.
5. Remove the door insulator.
6. Remove the IP storage compartment door handle.
7. Remove the IP storage compartment door latch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the IP storage compartment door handle.
2. Install the IP storage compartment door latch.
3. Install the door insulator.
4. Install the door insulator fasteners.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the door to hinge fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

6. Align the door so that it has an equal amount of clearance around the entire outside perimeter.
7. Adjust the striker.
