Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window

Removal Procedure

1. Place the window in the full down position.
2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door Service and Repair
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the inner sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the stationary window molding. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door Stationary (Service and Repair) .




6. Pull the weatherstrip away from the door.
7. Remove the window weatherstrip from the door.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the window weatherstrip to the door starting in the corner.
Work outward in both directions.
2. Firmly seat the window weatherstrip to the door.
3. Close the window.
4. Inspect the glass in order to ensure the weatherstrip is properly positioned.
5. Install the stationary window molding. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door Stationary (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the inner sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
8. Install the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door Service and Repair
