Electronic Column Lock Module - Disassemble

1. Remove the steering column tilt head housing. Refer to Steering Column Tilt Head Housing - Disassemble - Off Vehicle
2. Disconnect the park lock cable assembly (1). The lock cylinder should be in the OFF-LOCK position.
3. Insert a small screwdriver into the slot on the electronic lock module assembly and push against the locking tab to remove.





4. Disconnect the connectors (1) and (2) of the ignition and key alarm switch assembly.





5. Remove the coded key controller (2) from the electronic lock module assembly (1).





6. Remove the key alarm connector (1) from the electronic lock module assembly (2).
7. Remove 2 tapping screws from the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3).
8. Remove the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3) from the electronic lock module assembly (2).





9. Remove the 3 pan head tapping screws (2) from the electronic lock module assembly (1).
10. Remove the electronic lock module assembly (1).
