Door Lock Cylinder Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement. Service and Repair




3. Remove the outside door handle. Refer toFront Side Door Outside Handle Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the E-clip retaining the lock cylinder arm to the lock cylinder.
5. Remove the lock cylinder arm.
6. Spread the omega clip (3) retaining the lock cylinder to the door handle (1).
7. Remove the lock cylinder (2) from the door handle (1).
8. Ensure that the lock cylinder gasket is not damaged.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the gasket into the outside door handle.
2. Snap the lock cylinder (2) into the outside door handle (1).
3. Install the outside door handle. Refer toFront Side Door Outside Handle Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement. Service and Repair
5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
