Torque Converter Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the torque converter cover bolt(s).
3. Remove the torque converter cover(s).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the torque converter cover(s).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the torque converter cover bolt(s).
^ Tighten the torque converter cover bolt(s) to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle.
