Front Side Door Hinge Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the door. Refer to Door Removal - Front (Door Removal - Front) .
2. Remove the hinge fasteners (1) from the pillar.
3. Remove the hinge fasteners from the door.
4. Remove the hinge half from the door.



Installation Procedure

1. Align the hinge half (2) to the body.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the hinge to body fasteners (1).

Tighten the fasteners to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).





3. Install the hinge to the door fasteners (1).

Tighten the hinge to door fasteners (1) to 34 N.m (24 lb ft).

4. Install the door. Refer to Door Removal - Front (Door Removal - Front) .

Notice: Refer to Door Striker Alignment Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Adjust the door for proper alignment. Refer to Door Adjustment (Adjustments) .
6. Touch up any damage to the hinge and fasteners with body color paint.
