Door Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Door Window Express Down in Cautions and Notices.

1. Remove the trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Remove the handle (1).
4. Remove the clip (3) retaining the lock cylinder to the door handle (1).
5. Remove the lock cylinder (2) from the door handle (1).
6. Make sure the lock cylinder gasket is not damaged.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Door Window Express Down in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the gasket, lock cylinder (2) to the door handle (1).
2. Install the lock cylinder retaining clip (3) to the door handle.
3. Install the door handle (1) to the door.
4. Install the water deflector.
5. Install the door trim panel.
