Rear Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Remove the trim panel bracket.
4. Remove the inner and outer belt moldings.
5. Remove the window.
6. Disconnect the wiring harness bracket from the lock assembly.
7. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the lock assembly.
8. Disconnect the inner door handle linkage from the lock assembly.
9. Remove the 2 top bolts (3) from the module (2).
10. Loosen the 3 lower captive bolts (4).
11. Remove the module (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the module (2).
2. Install the top 2 bolts (3)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Tighten the 5 bolts (3,4).

Tighten
Tighten the attaching bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Connect the inner door handle linkage to the lock assembly.
5. Connect the electrical connectors to the lock assembly.
6. Connect the wiring harness bracket to the lock assembly.
7. Install the window.
8. Install the inner and outer belt moldings.
9. Install the trim panel bracket.
10. Install the water deflector.
11. Install the trim panel.
