Door Window Sealing Strip
OUTER BELT MOLDINGRemoval Procedure
1. Lower the window to the full-down position.
IMPORTANT: If using a metal tool, pad the tool with tape to protect the painted surface.
2. Using a flat thin-bladed tool, gently pry the molding upward while rotating the molding (1) outboard.
Installation Procedure
IMPORTANT: If the edge of the molding is not flush to the edge of the door, gently tap the molding (1) into place.
1. On the front door, position the rear end of the molding flush to the rear edge of the front door.
2. On the rear door, position the front end of the molding flush with the front edge of the rear door.
3. Slowly working forward with a rubber mallet, gently tap the molding into place. Ensure that the close-out lip does not roll under.
INNER BELT MOLDING
Removal Procedure
1. Power down the window.
2. Remove the trim panel.
3. Starting from the front, remove the inner belt molding upward along the entire length of the door.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the belt molding onto the inner door flange.
2. Press the belt molding down into place.
3. Ensure the belt molding is secured to the inner door flange.
4. Install the trim panel.
5. Power up the window.
