Intermittents and Poor Connections

Intermittent malfunctions are difficult to accurately diagnose. The following method attempts to isolate an intermittent malfunction, especially wheel speed circuitry:
^ The ABS/TCS warning lamps will NOT illuminate during the ignition cycle when a MAGNASTEER(R) malfunction is detected.
^ The diagnostic trouble code stores at the time the malfunction occurs.
^ The history data of the DTC stores at the time the malfunction occurs.
^ Use the scan tool to read DTC history data.
