EGR Valve: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

^ Typical EGR valve shown.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector at the EGR valve.
2. Remove the two base to flange nuts and linear EGR valve assembly.


Installation Procedure
1. Install the linear EGR valve assembly
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 30 Nm (22 lb. ft.).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
