Ash Tray: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate.
2. Remove the screws (1) from the IP ashtray bracket.
3. Remove the IP ashtray (2) from the IP accessory trim panel.
4. Remove the cigarette lighter electrical harness.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the cigarette lighter electrical harness.
2. Position the instrument panel (IP) ashtray (2) to the IP accessory trim panel.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the screws (2) to the IP ashtray bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the IP ashtray bracket screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate.
