Install or Connect

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Passenger inflator module to vehicle.
2. New foam insulator to inflator module (Oldsmobile only).
3. Bracket over foam insulator.
4. Inflator module fasteners. Torque forward fasteners first.

TIGHTEN
^ Forward attachment fasteners to 24 N.m (18 lb. ft.).
^ Rear attachment fasteners to 10.5 N.m (93 lb. in.).

5. I/P carrier, refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges, And Warning Indicators.
^ Enable SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System. Service and Repair
