Circuit Operation

With the ignition switch in RUN or START, battery voltage is applied through the I/P Fuse Block TMNSS Fuse to the Park/Neutral Position (PNP) Switch. When the gear selector lever is placed in REVERSE, battery voltage is applied to the LH and RH backup lamps. Since the backup lamps are permanently grounded at G401 they will remain lit until the gear selector lever is moved out of REVERSE.
