Preliminary Checks

The condition of an automatic transaxle not operating properly may be influenced by one, or a combination of the:
- Fluid level high/low. Refer to TRANSAXLE.
- Engine performance. Refer to ENGINE MECHANICAL and ENGINE CONTROLS
- Manual linkage adjustment.
- Internal fluid leaks. Refer to TRANSAXLE.
- Electrical system. Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS.
- Transaxle or other mechanical component. Refer to TRANSAXLE.
