Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement

Description:

The passengers supplemental inflatable restraint (PSIR) door is not serviceable.

Remove or Disconnect
1. Windshield defrost grille.
2. I/P cluster trim plate.
3. Left and right windshield garnish moldings by pulling inward.
4. Screws (4).
5. Pull trim pad up and back to disengage clips from retainers.
6. Electrical connection from base of pad on left side.
7. Upper trim pad (1) from I/P assembly.

Install or Connect
1. Electrical connection to upper trim pad.
2. Upper trim pad (1) to I/P assembly, inserting clips (2) into retainers (3). Be sure the I/P trim panel is aligned to the door trim panel.
3. Screws (4).
4. I/P Cluster trim plate.
5. Windshield defrost grille.
6. Left and right windshield garnish moldings by aligning retainers and pushing onto pillar to secure.
