NOTE: Do not attempt to insert any disc into a CD player except those discs which display the symbol shown in Figure above on the disc label. Insertion of a disc which does not display this symbol, such as the 76 mm (3 inch) disc, may cause damage to the CD player and/or disc.

If the CD is playing when ignition voltage is removed, upon reapplication of power the unit resumes playing from the position reached prior to power down. CD VF display shows track selected and CD IN is lit.

If battery and ignition is removed from the unit, upon reapplication of power the radio is in the off mode and indicates the time of day, the CD IN lamp turns on. When the radio is turned on, the CD is initialized and starts to play track 1 and CD IN lights along with time of play. After 5 seconds the track selection is displayed.
